I thought I was ordering a modern textbook when I bought this. Turns out the original printing was 1917. I'm into history of science, so I was actually pretty excited. The language is pretty easy to understand for something 100 years old. It's fascinating to read what the field was like back when bacteria was in the plant kingdom. I love it!Product details

Ancient mycology history. Author died in 1929. book does not index the first 12 chapters and there is no way to navigate to information of any interest.
Good info even though the book is old ..a little wordy but anyone interested in the science of plants will appreciate this book plus you can not beat the price.
